CSA Pick-up #3 and Bountiful Baskets

We had our 3rd CSA pick-up today. We should be getting cherries next weekend!! Here is what we got:
2 heads of lettuce
2 bags of Gourmet Salad Blend
8 green onions
Handful of u-pick cilantro
Handful of u-pick sweet peas
4 sweet turnips
2 types of cabbage


We also did our 2nd Bountiful Baskets today. We like to go and volunteer and get everything ready because you get to see what is going in your basket in advance and you get an extra goodie or two. Added bonus, you don't have to wait in line. The GJ pick-up is filling up fast, we had 88 baskets today, which is a lot of people, so not having to wait in line is worth the hour work ahead of time. The only downside today was it was HOT!!
Here is what we got:
7 plums
7 limes
6 bananas
8 granny smith apples
6 mangoes
1 pint of grape tomatoes
1 bunch of green onions
1 bunch celery
1 head of romaine lettuce
1 cabbage (that now makes 3 1/2 in my fridge - coleslaw and cabbage salsa here we come)
6 carrots
2 6oz pks of blackberries (I got an extra one for my volunteer time)
1 lb of strawberries
