Save The Dates

As many of you may know, Lauren is our budding actress of the family and has been involved in a couple plays this year through the Youth Theater Project here in Grand Junction. She is currently rehearsing for The Jungle Book Kids which she will be playing one of the monkeys. Those performances are October 1st and October 2nd. The "Kids" part of the title indicates that the production is not full length, but rather 40 minutes long...perfect for all the little tikes that are also a part of the production.


Yesterday, Lauren auditioned (a true "audition") for a part in the full length production of Annie, complete with local professional actors, and she landed a spot as one of the main character orphans - Kate. Because the full length production is 3 hours, they split the kiddos into two casts (red and green) and Lauren will be performing Friday morning for District 51 elementary schools, Friday night, November 12th and Saturday night, November 13th both at 7:00 pm. There are 2 other performances, Thursday night and Saturday matinee.
