Surprise!!

This past weekend we held a surprise birthday party for my Grandpa Howard who turned 90 years old. It was a lot of fun. We sent invitations out to everyone in their little black book and we actually had quite a bit of family show up the we had never met before from all over the country. We met my grandpa's nephew from Minnesota and a niece from Texas. We had family in from Indiana and other family came down from the East slope. It was like a mini family reunion. My grandpa has had such a great life and is well respected and it showed. The party took place at the Ale House (where my brother is front manager) and finished up at my parent's house. No one wanted to go home because you just didn't want the conversation to end. The next day we had lunch with the niece and nephew and got to know them a little better. Both couples actually made GJ their vacation spot, so they had a little extra time. It was really nice to connect with family. Happy Birthday Grandpa.
