Yep - it snowed....again...about 5 inches last night and yesterday. We are so tired of looking at the white stuff and ready for spring that we almost broke into tears last night when the gigantic snowflakes started falling. We have had below freezing temperatures and snow... a lot of it...on the ground since the beginning of December. The news said it was something like 50+ days of snow on the ground. Unfortunately, the super cold weather is also starting to affect the local orchards and there are reports out there that the grape vines are completely frozen to the ground and the fruit trees are not showing their usually pre-spring time buds. We may still be okay....hopefully. Anyway, the snow this morning was very heavy and wet...the kind that makes it feel like the snow shovel weighs 20 lbs with each scoop of snow...but it made for awesome packing snow to make the kindergarten snowman waiting at the bus stop this morning.

Ugh, I hear ya Nic. I can't wait for the snow to be gone! It gets really cloudy in Idaho during the winter too. So everything seems white and gray, wet and cold. I definitely feel a change in me during the winter, just less energy and more blah. Hang in there... we just have Feb. to get through and then March always seems so much more promising!
