Sean's Accident

Last Friday, Sean was heading to work and was hit by a lady that failed to yield at the intersection of 3rd and Grand Ave. It is a bad intersection and I have personally seen many accidents occur there. I used to work in the building that is seen in the background of some of the pictures. Anyway, the lady didn't stop at the stop sign and T-boned Sean, rolling the vehicle onto its side and pushing him onto the sidewalk. Thank God he wasn't injured, not even a scratch, and it just happens that Matt was heading into the Sheriff's Office, saw the accident and turned around and stayed with Sean until everything was taken care of.
We lent Sean our truck until he could find another mode of transportation...again...it just so happened that Matt had the next two weeks off, had a take home car that someone let him borrow while they were out of town plus his motorcycle, so we really didn't need the truck for that time.
Then...an old family friend called my mom and dad to tell us about what was going on in his life and when he heard about Sean's accident...he told his mom (who was in the hospital) and she has always considered Sean to be like another grandchild and told him that he could buy her car (1993 Buick) for a dollar....she doesn't drive anymore. He is picking up the new car this week.
Below are some pictures of the accident.

We're glad he's ok! And that's wonderful how things worked out so well with Sean having transportation so soon!
